To find out what a policy costs you have to run a quote. Use the calculator. Enter your details — the vehicle registration, date of birth, the term of cover — depending on which type of insurance you are buying. As you go, the system automatically checks that what you have entered is valid: the date of birth, the taxpayer registration number, the vehicle registration number, where the vehicle is registered, and so on.
Enter your details once and the calculator returns a quote for your car from every insurer we work with, side by side. Prices for identical cover differ substantially between companies — that is the whole reason to compare rather than renew with whoever you used last year.
Note that a deductible, where there is one, means you pay part of the cost yourself when you claim. A policy with a deductible always looks cheaper at the point of sale, so compare like with like — the cheapest policy on the screen is not always the cheapest one at claim time.
Information is entered in Ukrainian.
Some fields have to be filled in using the Latin alphabet, and those are marked. Some data is copied across automatically, and the prompts tell you where.
The insured person is the person the policy applies to. The policyholder is the person entering into the contract. Usually they are the same person, but not necessarily — someone under 18, for example, cannot enter into a contract on their own behalf.
Occasionally, once all the details are in, the price on the policy changes. This happens with travel medical cover, where some companies rate on the exact age of the insured person. You can either accept the revised price or go back a step and choose a different option.
The draft is a PDF. Open it and check what has been entered, carefully. On voluntary products the terms differ from company to company, and you can read them in the attachment — the Offer, the Programme, or the Terms of Insurance.
Check your own email address and phone number in particular. The code for signing the policy and the concluded contract itself will both be sent to them.
If the draft is correct, you can sign and pay.
Press "Get an SMS code to sign" and a code — normally six digits — arrives on the policyholder's phone number via Viber within a minute. If that number is not on Viber, the code comes by SMS. Entering the code confirms that the information you entered is accurate and constitutes your signature on the electronic contract.
Important: the phone number must be with a Ukrainian mobile operator.
Payment goes through a secure payment service licensed by the National Bank of Ukraine, which protects the payer's data. Card details are entered outside our site and are never copied by us.
After paying, do not refresh the page while the payment is processed — it takes a couple of minutes. If you would rather not pay by card, we can issue an invoice for payment to an IBAN account instead.
The policy is emailed to you automatically as an attached file within a few minutes.
If anything is unclear, get in touch using the contact details on the site. Our insurance service has been operating in Ukraine since 2010.
